to leave a beautiful life for oneself

Life cycle is a must process for every body. We seem to be far away from death, yet clearly know that we are afraid of death, and more so for people surrounded us to leave. Be young or elderly, one must pass through the censorship of death, but nobody knows when. Upon the day of death, we are forced to be apart from our relatives and good friends; plus the loss to whereabouts in the future, death brings us enormous pain.

After death, what would we bring? Money? Houses? Fame and Official Position? None of them. The only thing we brought is "positive to yourself, and live up to the value," that will live us to the next life. "Positive to yourself, and live up to the value" is the sentence that most touched us during the research. Death is not the drop of curtains, but rather the calling for the curtains. When the band start playing, one accepts the applauds and flowers of audience with the truest oneself and deeply bowed. The show on the stage was gathered by the show itself, and people left for the show is ended. However, we made the value of the show together, and asserted the giving of each other.

Mr. Shu-Sheng Lin, Chief of the Second Funeral Parlor, said that we often saw other people dead, but seldom viewed how ourselves facing death. We someday we are confronting death, we should learn how to face it, and learn how to care the relatives on the death bed to reduce their pains and let them feel warmth. During the study, we might feel the real sadness of other people; and saw the truest feelings of life. Should we appreciated the meaning of life, we will not avoid talking about death, rather facing death, and consider how to cherish everything and every moment around us. We are fortunate enough to select this topic that let us feel calm and wide in the inner most.

In this study, we mainly focus on the Buddhist and Taoist culture that are popular on Taiwan.
